Continental baths
Bill's been doing a delivery
run to my homeopath, who hangs
out at the end of a hideous
bus/train/bus trek at the
back of the Dowse Gallery. If
I can tell him what is causing
my problem, homeopathic stuff
is brilliant.
We're whizzed along Petone
foreshore. I love this space
looking out to sea, at a tug
boat backing off a vanished
red Columbus Line container
ship.
I can't drink coffee for about
three weeks. Bernard's trying
to cheer me up. He's reading
me the exclusive Time interview
with Barry Manilow and Bette
Midler. One snowy night soon
after 1971 the ony way whey
could think of, of not freezing
was asking if there was a piano
inside a gay sauna the could
duet on. For "I'll Be Seeing You."
